Peaslake sits at the heart of the Surrey Hills AONB, adjacent to the 3,000-acre Hurtwood Forest that defines the village's immediate landscape. Dense woodland, bridleways, and the sandstone ridges that rise above the village make the area one of the county's most celebrated destinations for walking and mountain biking.
